The Ponytail

Okay...So I know that I am a girl and all, but I am still challenged by this whole "little girl hair thing". So this is my first attempt at a ponytail. I am sure as she gets bigger, it will get better. We hope that one day she will have awesome hair like the little "Princess" we know and her ponytails. :)

Incredible Video

Steve and I were humbled once again when we found this on GodTube. We hope you take a minute to watch it. God is so good and simply amazing.

Dress Up and Art

We have had a lot of fun this morning. The kids have really been into dressing up...we are still accumulating more girl stuff but for now Abby will settle for the Colts Football uniform. We also did some painting. Caleb has been asking for an airplane to hang in his room and so we cut one out of cardboard and painted it today. We gave him eyes too because at this age almost everything is "alive" and has a name. Oh...and he named his airplane...Fredbird...the official mascot for the St. Louis Cardinals major league baseball team! (Uncle Shane...he thought you would really like that.)

Edible Arrangement

Check this out! My Father and Mother-in-Law sent this to Steve and I for our anniversary. I don't know who was more excited...Steve, myself or....Caleb! We absolutely loved it! Thanks you so much Tim and Cathy!!

Happy 5th Anniversary Baby! (July 12)

Wow....Where do I begin? This journey that we have been on has been filled with many ups and downs. We have loved, lost, cried, laughed and grown so much in these years. Together we have watched God transform our lives and help us to build a God centered marriage, which we now have a deep passion and desire to share with others around us. Through our repentance, God has forgiven, and He has blessed us far beyond anything we could ever imagine. This forgiveness has allowed us to get caught up "into His redemptive purpose for the world". There is no one on this earth that I would want to be on this journey with. I love you deeper now than I did walking down the aisle 5 years ago.

Thank you for not giving up on us and for coming home both to our family and back to the one who created you, your Father, Jesus Christ. There really is no better gift this year than to know that we have placed Christ in the center of our lives.

I am lucky to walk these days and many more with you!

I love you Baby!

Love,
Tara

Bubble Wrap Fun

Today we "wrapped" up our fourth of July fun with a little bubble wrap. Our kids are still pretty young to be up late for the big fireworks (for us). We did get a few fun ones for Caleb to do last night and then we put bubble wrap on the floor and let them jump all over it to end our celebration today. It was easy to do and made us laugh to watch them. Especially Abigail... who thought she could jump like her brother.

The Liller's Firework Extravaganza

Okay...so I scammed these from Shawn and Beth Liller because I want my friends and family to understand the magnitude of this event. Check out their garage and all the detail that went into setting up...oh and yes...they have their own "Pyro" team. It was awesome! Thanks again Shawn and Beth!

Fourth of July

Wow...the past two days have been so much fun. Although we did not bring our camera last night (or chairs...what were we thinking), we enjoyed the amazing Liller's Firework Extravaganza. What an amazing display. We went without the kids this year, but Caleb will be old enough and will love it next year. Thank you so much Liller Family!

Today, we made our way down to the Carmel parade. Caleb wasn't sure what he was getting into, but he soon realized when it began that it was "awesome". This is just one of the many reasons we have kids....to live again through their eyes. Even though it rained, we had a blast and will be doing it again next year.
