So for the past few months I have been setting my alarm and getting up before everyone to do my devotions and spend time with God. I know that my mornings may be thrown off a little due to my little "early riser", but I gave that to God and He has been faithful. Today was no exception...my alarm went off and there was His cute little face ready for the day too. So off we went downstairs for some breakfast and devotion time.
During devotions, my little man snuggled close to me and got out his Bible too. It was hard for me to concentrate as I listened to him "read" the Bible. He was reciting stories that he has learned and Bible verses that he has memorized this year. My heart was flooded with emotions and love. It was about 5 minutes into his reading that I heard him say..
"We praise You because we know Your words"!!
WOW! How simple but profound from a 4 year old. Soon after... he was finished with devotion time and off to play but I hung onto those words and wrote them down to remember always. With everything in our lives and world today, we are going to need more faith like a child. We are going to praise Him more because we DO KNOW HIS WORDS!

Great Wolf Lodge
New Year's Day we headed to the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, OH with some friends to have some fun. Our kids LOVED it and asked if we could come back again...of course. Except next time, we will be staying more than one night. There is so much to do that you have to create your own downtime. We actually didn't get a lot of pictures because we were in the waterpark most of the time.
